The Bridge (Revive Church) Completion
Denver, CO (June 16, 2023) – Howell Construction recently completed the transformation of an existing retail center into The Bridge. The project was three projects in one, designed by Lee Architects to transform Revive Church into The Bridge. The church owns and operates from a u-shaped retail center located near 80th and Wadsworth in Arvada, Colorado. Howell was selected to provide construction renovation services to existing campus buildings and the surrounding site.
The first project, Under One Roof, was a 15,700 SF renovation of a movie theater into the Children’s Ministry. Howell’s team leveled the sloped theater floors and installed additional water lines and plumbing fixtures to meet the needs of the future building occupants. The space features brightly colored finishes appropriate for a children’s ministry complete with an interior slide. Ministry offices are also included in the scope of the Under One Roof space.
The second project within the campus included exterior enhancements. Howell’s scope included new signage, exterior paint, new steel and wood trellises, hardscapes, landscaping and irrigation, a new playfield, and a new playground.

The final component of the project was converting an existing retail building into a Lionheart Academy Early Childhood Learning Center, a 13,500 SF project. Working with the Church, Lee Architects and Lionheart Academy, Howell’s team transformed the existing space into a colorful learning environment in an African setting.
