National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Completion
Howell Construction is pleased to announce the successful completion of a renovation and expansion project for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) in Greeley, Colorado. NBCE is responsible for developing, administering, and scoring standardized examinations that assess candidates’ knowledge, cognitive abilities, and problem-solving skills in both basic and clinical sciences.
The project included a 6,000 SF renovation and a 9,000 SF expansion, significantly increasing the organization’s operational capacity. The upgraded facility features new examination rooms, flexible testing spaces, simulated clinical environments, as well as enhanced amenities including a kitchen and rooftop patio. These improvements support NBCE’s ability to serve more students in a modern, accessible, and welcoming environment.

Designed by Clark & Enersen and constructed by Howell Construction, the enhanced campus marks NBCE’s 12th site nationwide to offer the Part IV Assessment – an advanced, hands-on examination that simulates patient care from start to finish. The expanded facility broadens NBCE’s reach and provides students with access to a more immersive testing experience.
Howell Construction completed the project ahead of NBCE’s first scheduled exams in the new space on April 10, 2026, ensuring the facility was ready to support incoming candidates without delay.
The completion of this project represents an exciting milestone for NBCE as it continues to expand its facilities and services in the Greeley community.
