International Assoc. for the Study of Lung Cancer Office TI

Denver, CO (August 11, 2020) – Howell Construction completes the tenant improvement project for the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC). In 1974, IASLC held their first formal meeting in Florence, Italy, having recruited more than 250 founding members from across the globe. Since then, it has grown into a professional international organization of more than 8,000 members.

The 6,000 square-foot project located on the second floor of the Prism building on 17th and Curtis features a modern design with walnut wall paneling and high STC demountable wall systems. In order to fulfill its global mission, IASLC required multiple video conferencing spaces for international presentations. Zoom systems were integrated in multiple configurations to provide the team with a flexible and highly functional space. The floor to ceiling windows looking out over the Denver cityscape remained uninterrupted, thanks to an unusual ceiling detail that conceals the building structure without blocking natural light.

“Path21 Architecture did an incredible job of listening to the client’s needs and designing an attractive and functional workspace for them to enjoy. The entire project team was an absolute pleasure to work with,” said Collin Jacobsen, Project Manager for Howell Construction.
