Howell Construction Completes New Distillery for The Curated Barrel Project
Howell Construction is proud to announce the completion of a new distillery for The Curated Barrel Project.
Led by renowned distiller Jake Norris, The Curated Barrel Project is dedicated to crafting distinctive small-batch whiskeys while fostering a community built around shared experiences. Over the course of two years, the project will release eight unique whiskeys, each accompanied by a curated dinner designed to bring people together around a shared appreciation for high-quality spirits. Located in Arvada, Colorado, the new facility provides a home for both innovative whiskey production and immersive events that bring enthusiasts together.
To help bring their vision to life, Howell Construction transformed 10,000 square feet of warehouse space into an explosion-rated distillery designed to support the specialized requirements of whiskey production. The project also included the installation of comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to support the facility’s specialized operations. Outside the warehouse, a secure outdoor processing area houses critical distilling equipment.
“It’s always rewarding to help a client bring a unique idea to life,” said Collin Jacobsen, Senior Project Manager at Howell Construction. “We’re excited to see The Curated Barrel Project establish a space where people can come together around a shared passion for great whiskey.”
The completed facility provides The Curated Barrel Project with the infrastructure needed to produce its distinctive spirits while creating a welcoming gathering place for whiskey lovers across Colorado.
