Ent Credit Union Ken Caryl

Denver, CO (09/21/20) – While Ent Credit Union has been expanding their coverage throughout the Northern Front Range with several brand-new branch buildings, they have also been taking advantage of strategically-located, existing properties that can be renovated to suit their brand. One of these is the new Ken Caryl branch, purchased from a previous financial institution. The renovation had some unique challenges, including the failing roof structure of the existing drive-thru canopy, which Howell Construction demolished and rebuilt. Local design review board requirements were adhered to when working on the exterior façade, including a stone wainscot around the perimeter, a signature to Ent’s brand.

Aside from a clean interior refresh, significant improvements were made to the site and infrastructure, including the replacement of a severely aged rooftop unit. Also, the front entry sidewalk was brought up to ADA standards, and the deteriorating parking lot was milled and overlaid to help give the branch a truly brand-new appearance.

“Howell continues to grow our partnership with Ent Credit Union and Keys + Lauer Architects. We are proud to have our name associated with this property!” said Jeremy Kellogg, Project Manager for Howell Construction.

Established in 1957, Ent has expanded to 14 counties along Colorado’s Front Range and has more than 380,000 members. Howell is honored to be Ent’s building partner for multiple new sites in the Denver Metro area.
