United Launch Alliance – Tenant Improvement
Howell Construction was selected to provide tenant improvement services for United Launch Alliance’s (ULA) 9,000 SF secure third-floor workspace. The project involved the construction and renovation of 14 private offices, five conference rooms, and a staff break area, creating a modern and highly functional environment that met ULA’s stringent security requirements.
A key component of the project was the installation of RF shielding on all exterior windows to enhance facility security. Additional secure features included custom locking millwork cabinets for the storage of sensitive documents and materials, as well as an extensive low-voltage infrastructure supporting security card readers on all interior doors. These integrated security measures were carefully coordinated to ensure compliance with the facility’s operational and security standards.
The renovated space was completed with new paint and carpeting throughout, providing a refreshed and professional workplace environment. Through detailed planning, close coordination, and efficient execution, Howell successfully delivered the project on schedule and within budget.
